Wild Gun Shop with a unique flavor
Wind River Outdoor Co in Lander, Wyoming
It’s like a fancygun shop, but with cool people working there
I asked around in town, while visiting, for a good gun shop, and they said check out the shop on the top of the hill
It’s got a bit of everything you’d need on an outing in Wyoming
Perfect place to grab that gear that broke, got lost or forgotten at home
They also have the cool Wyoming logo shirts, hats and stickers I posted earlier today (Those are in house designs, I’m told)
I grabbed a bunch of stuff for our Patreon supporters, THANK YOU

The most interesting museum in Wyoming We had a chance to check out the guns at the Cody Dug Up Gun museum
A private collection of 30+ years
I arrived AFTER they had closed for the season, Travelers Tipc Cody, Wyoming pretty much shuts down for winter
But they were gracious enough to open just for us! They let me wander around and the owner / curator answered many questions In fact I stayed for a few hours and chatted about Cody, the Dug Up Guns, 2A Issues and we watched our new Justice getting confirmed by the senate that afternoon
What a great place, an ultimately interesting collection, amd some of the coolest people you’ll meet running the place and doing the collecting Did I mention the while experience is FREE ? If you are on a budget or turns out you dont like dug up guns, then just leave, no charge If you appreciate them keeping the lights on, and the growing collection available to anyone who visits… then leave them a few dollars I’ll say it again The BEST museum in Wyoming A Must See

From our 2018 Visit (only 1 out of 10 stars, do not recommend)
Very few guns at the Cody Museum
They are not kidding when they say the guns are not on display. Only a very few guns are out, and the descriptions are tiny. There is a big TV screen, with tiny gun pictures, if you click on them, they open up.. its as though you are online, at home.. only you are at the museum, you drove many hundreds of miles to visit Do not visit until the new museum is built Many (most) of the guns around the rest of the museum have also been brought to the new exhibits which are off limits to visitors #FirearmMuseum #TotalDisapointment #FewGuns While #UnderConstruction
